Introduction

Hello Everyone!
Just a little bit about me. I am the mother of two wonderful boys and have been married to my loving husband for 25 years now.
I have been a job steward almost my entire career with Southwestern Bell/SBC/AT&T.
I started in operator services in Houston, Texas in June 1990. From there, I transferred to operator services in Austin, Texas.
My next step was a moved to Dallas, Texas and a change to revenue management.
The office for this department then moved into a building that put me into the Fort Worth Local. My next career move was to the NOC in Irving, and I have been there since!
I am second generation phone company and have many relatives that work for or have retired from the company. I believe in our union and encourage everyone to become active. I believe in educating the members on their rights and benefits.
The company saves money when our members do not know what benefits they are entitled to nor how to use them.
I feel my job is to educate our membership to the best of my ability on our benefits. I have been the benefits coordinator for the Dallas local for about 5 years now.
I have been assisting members in my personal work locations for much longer than that. I love what I do! Not everyone is able to say that that, but I really do.
